SAAJE recognizes that without great teachers, there are no great programs.  Therefore, SAAJE puts a premium on teacher education.  The Education Director’s Council includes all of the education directors at the congregations, the education directors at the Jewish pre-schools, the Head of School at the Eleanor Kolitz Academy, and the Director of Chai High, the community high school.

The EDC helps plan professional development for Jewish educators, including special programming for congregation teachers, pre-school teachers, teaching about Israel, a special track for educators at Yom Limmud, and more.
