The mission of the Jewish Federation of San Antonio is to strengthen Jewish communities here, everywhere, always. Founded in 1927, Federation is dedicated to building a strong Jewish community in San Antonio and worldwide through its Annual Campaign, and by providing meaningful opportunities for Jewish individuals and families. Federation is composed of people who strive to perfect an imperfect world. Federation is where passion and commitment, along with tzedakah and a sense of social justice, join together to make a difference in someone’s life.
Since its inception almost 100 years ago, the Jewish Federation of San Antonio has been dedicated to building a strong Jewish community in San Antonio and worldwide through its Annual Campaign and by providing quality opportunities for Jewish individuals and families.
Federation is the people who care enough to want to perfect an imperfect world. Federation is the passion of commitment, where tzedakah and a sense of social justice can make a difference in someone's life.
Through outreach and engagement, we build a larger tent of committed Jews who have the passion, knowledge, and skills to lead us into the future. We help newcomers and others find their place in our Jewish community, develop young leaders and philanthropists, and strengthen our Jewish identity through Jewish education and our connection to Israel.
The Annual Campaign supports programs of the Jewish Federation, such as our Holocaust Memorial Museum, programs of the Jewish Community Relations Council, PJ Library & PJ Our Way, the Young Adult Division (YAD), Women's Philanthropy, LIFE & LEGACY®, and more!
And, through community planning, we help ensure a full array of programs and services to educate our children, provide for our seniors, support our most vulnerable, and finance and maintain community properties for the enjoyment of all.
