Beyond the Dreidel is a hands-on workshop for PJ Library families, educators, and community members. The event is designed to help participants explore age-appropriate ways to bring Hanukkah into public school settings—offering accurate, respectful representation of Jewish traditions and values.

Our goal is to equip parents and educators with the tools, confidence, and ready-made resources needed to introduce Hanukkah into their children’s classrooms, moving beyond surface-level symbols like the dreidel. Instead, we'll work on how to foster a deeper understanding of Jewish identity.
