 en German troops occupied her town\, ghettos were established. Ruth's brot
 her was taken away in 1941 at the age of 25. In 1942\, Ruth's father was t
 aken away by the Nazis. Ruth (now 14)\, her mother\, and sister were trans
 ported and lived in the Lodz ghetto\, until the ghetto was liquidated and 
 the three women were taken in a cattle car train to Auschwitz concentratio
 n camp....
