Shirat Ha-Yam—In the Midst of the Sea on Dry Ground
When did the Israelites sing their famous “Song of the Sea”
[Shirat ha-Yam]?

Was it after they safely reached the shore or as they traversed through the waters on dry ground?
I reflect on the experience of Song as an expression of both awe and joy, and compare Moshe’s song to Miriam and the women’s song and circle-dance.
