Jason Johnson, Ph.D., is a professor of Modern European history at Trinity University, teaching courses such as the Holocaust, World War II, European borders, dictatorships, and the Cold War. His recent book "Divided Village: The Cold War in the German Borderlands centers on a sixty-person German farming village divided by the Iron Curtain".
Join Jason Johnson as he discusses the National Socialists' views on homosexuals in Germany during the Third Reich and the regime's policies and actions directed against them. He will conclude by asking: what are the lessons of the Nazi repression of homosexuals for the Texas LGBTQ community today?
