About

Grow JewishSA is a new think tank initiative that aims to increase the size and vitality of the Jewish community in San Antonio.  Individuals and agencies will be offered funding to implement their ideas for engaging those who are currently uninvolved and/or for attracting new Jewish individuals and families to consider making San Antonio their home.

How does it work?

The application process is broken into two phases:

Phase 1: Submit general ideas and potential initiatives to Grow JewishSA

Phase 2: Up to 10 semi-finalists will be invited to submit detailed presentations for grand finalist consideration

Incentive

This project is supported by funds from the 2022 Annual Campaign Allocations from the Jewish Federation of San Antonio. The Grand Finalists' projects will be awarded funds to support their initiatives.

Award amounts are as follows:

• $0 - $5,000

• $5,000 - $10,000

• $10,000 - $15,000

Timeline

January 16: Phase 1 Application Opens

February 10: Phase 1 Application Deadline

March 1: Invitations to Semi-Finalists sent
