Frequently Asked Questions

How can I sign up to receive books from PJ Library?

PJ Library is intended for children ages 6 months - 8 years old, with at least 1 Jewish parent. Sign up to receive monthly *free* books from PJ Library here.

Is PJ Library really free?

Yes! PJ Library is made possible through the Jewish Federation of San Antonio's Annual Campaign in partnership with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, and of course our families who give. Learn more about ways to give and support the San Antonio Jewish community for the next generation.

Can my child still receive books if they are older than 8 years old?

You bet! PJ Our Way is a continuation of PJ Library for children ages 9-12. Your child can choose 1 free book a month and even leave a review on the PJ Our Way site! It's a great way to keep your child engaged and reading as they continue to grow.

What are some previous programs/events PJ Library has done?

We provide a wide range of programming for our PJ families and always welcome feedback and ideas! Previous events include playdate park meetups, Tot Shabbats, menorah lighting at SeaWorld, end-of-summer pool party, and so much more!
